DroneShield Launches Enterprise-Level Counter-Drone Platform: DroneSentry-C2E
DroneShield Limited (ASX: DRO) has unveiled its latest innovation, DroneSentry-C2 Enterprise (C2E) — a powerful new software platform designed to coordinate large-scale, multi-site counter-drone operations. The launch marks a major step in DroneShield’s evolution toward enterprise-level and SaaS-driven security solutions.
The C2E platform connects multiple DroneSentry-C2 systems across wide geographical areas—such as military bases, airports, energy facilities, and data centres—into one unified network. This allows users to:
Manage drone alerts from multiple locations in real time
Monitor system health and operational readiness
Verify incidents remotely through live camera feeds
Seamlessly move from nationwide oversight to local site control
This level of integration enables faster decision-making, improved coordination, and greater resilience for national-level security operations.
Supporting the launch, DroneSentry-C2 has also been upgraded with SAPIENT protocol compatibility for interoperability with other C2 systems, as well as MIL-STD-2525 and MGRS mapping standards familiar to military users. The system also incorporates DroneShield’s ThreatAI engine, which intelligently prioritises drone activity to enhance operator confidence in complex environments.
The company has already secured its first C2E order from a European customer on the Eastern NATO flank, with deployment set for early 2026. This marks a significant milestone in DroneShield’s efforts to scale counter-drone solutions across multiple sites and national networks.
CEO Oleg Vornik noted that C2E completes DroneShield’s three-tiered software strategy—covering device-level optimisation, site-level sensor fusion, and now enterprise-level command. This expansion supports DroneShield’s goal of deriving 30–40% of its revenue from SaaS over the medium term.
CTO Angus Bean added that C2E directly addresses the growing complexity of airspace security, enabling governments and infrastructure operators to manage distributed counter-drone operations with a cloud-enabled, enterprise-scale command system.
While financial details of the deal were not disclosed, DroneShield expects material demand growth for its enterprise counter-drone solutions as global drone threats escalate.
